Indian player Kidambi beat world number 5 player Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia. Srikant is the world’s number 12 player his win over a much-ranked player is appreciatable. Kidambi Srikant beat Lee Zii Jia in the streight games by the set score of 22-20, 23-21. The match lasted for 37 minutes. Kidami beat Lee Zii Jia first time in the four meetings.
