Smriti Mandhana scored an unbeaten 79 as the Indian women’s cricket team beat England by 8 wickets in the second T20I to level the series 1-1. In the match played at the Derby Cricket Ground, the England team, batting first, set a target of 143 runs in front of the Indian team.

The Indian team achieved this target for the loss of 2 wickets, thanks to the brilliant innings of Mandhana and captain Harmanpreet Kaur. Harmanpreet scored an unbeaten 29 off 22 balls. Mandhana was adjudged player of the match.
