Veterans’ statements about Samson

Former India chief selector MSK Prasad says ‘The question is, in place of which player Sanju should get a chance in the team. Deepak Hooda gives you an extra bowling option. Like Sanju, he can bat on any order. Shreyas has done well in India’s home series against Sri Lanka and West Indies.

If the team management had to play Sanju Samson in the T20 World Cup, it would have tried him by giving him a chance in the Asia Cup and the upcoming home series against Australia and South Africa, but it did not happen. This means that Sanju Samson was not a part of the planning of the T20 World Cup.

At the same time, former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria has said that it is a bit unfair for a player like Sanju Samson. He should have been given a chance in the T20 World Cup squad. What is the mistake he has done due to which he is not being given a place on the team?

Samson was also overlooked in India’s home series against Australia and South Africa. I would have picked Sanju Samson over Rishabh Pant.

There is a lot of discussion about Pant and Samson

Ever since the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup has been announced, there has been a lot of discussion among cricket fans and experts about the two names. These names are Delhi’s Rishabh Pant and Kerala’s Sanju Samson.

Both are wicket-keeper batsmen and are considered to be the future stars of Indian cricket. Despite the poor form, the selectors have included Pant in the team of 15 members, while Samson has not been given a place
