South Africa beat New Zealand by 9 wickets in the fourth match of the Road Safety World Series. Putik of South Africa gave the team victory in the 14th over by hitting one four and two sixes. The team achieved this victory by losing just one wicket. Morne Van Wyk was caught after scoring 14 runs in 22 balls.
New Zealand had won the toss and elected to bat, but New Zealand’s team could not even score 100 runs in 20 overs. New Zealand scored just 99 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. The African bowlers had taken hold from the very first over. Devcich was dismissed by Johan Botha on the third ball of the very first over.

NZ manage to score only 99 runs
New Zealand could only manage 26 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the power play. Ross Taylor was also dismissed after scoring 4 runs in 11 balls. Since then the New Zealand team has not been able to recover.
One wicket after another kept falling. Only Brownlee scored 48 runs. 8 players could not even touch the tens figure. The South African team needs 100 runs to win. African player Johan Botha took 4 wickets. While T Tashbala took 3 wickets.
Andrew Putick and Morne Van Wyk have come to bat for Africa. Africa has scored 20 runs in 4 overs without losing a wicket. The New Zealand team reached Green Park at around 6:30 pm. All the players did net practice. The South African team was also about to enter the field when it started drizzling.
