Road Safety World Series T20 2022: Suresh Raina will play his 1st match in Kanpur after retirement
The cricket ground of the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur was once again lit up with the old stars of the Indian cricket team on Thursday evening. Players like Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, and Munaf Patel came out to practice in the stadium. Suresh Raina was seen sweating along with other players under the floodlights during the practice session.
South Africa team captain Jonty Rhodes and star bowler Makhaya Antini along with other African players also reached Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium on Thursday night. On reaching the hotel, South African star bowler Makhaya Antony raised slogans of Ganpati Bappa Morya.
Suresh Raina will play his first match in Kanpur after retirement
The Indian Legends team reached the ground at around 6 pm. All the players did warm-up first and then ran. Sachin, Yuvraj, and Suresh took many balls from the bowlers across the boundary line. Indian legend Yusuf Pathan practiced bowling as well as batting. Suresh Raina defended the good balls on the first day of the practice session. He takes loose balls across the boundary line. Suresh Raina is going to play his first match in Kanpur after retiring from international cricket.
Along with the Indian team, players from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh also practiced fiercely. The teammate ran first as soon as they reached the field. After that, they did stretching and warm-up. Later they landed for the net practice.

Formal Indian cricketer and current Indian Legend team member Suresh Raina belongs to UP state. He also played his 1st class cricket for UP. Suresh Raina was very happy after reaching in home state. He also will play in 1st big league cricket tournament after not selecting for IPL. Suresh Raina had given his name for the IPL mega auction 2022 but he was not brought by any franchise during the auction.
