India equals the record for most matches won against Zimbabwe

With this win, the Indian team has also achieved 54 wins in ODIs against Zimbabwe. However, Team India has played 66 matches against Zimbabwe. India took little more matches as compared to Pakistan.
Shubman Gill remained the hero of the series
Shubman Gill scored the most runs in the match for India. Gill scored the first century of his international career. This Punjabi batsman scored 130 runs in 97 balls. At the same time, Ishan Kishan also scored the second fifty of his ODI career in the match.
Similarly, he scored the highest runs in the series too. In the earlier ODI series too against the West Indies, Shubman becomes the highest run-getter of the series. He capitalized his chances and proved his selection correct for this format too.
Sikandar Raza tried to stop India from making the record. Zimbabwe’s all-rounder Sikandar Raza played a brilliant inning of 115 runs in 95 balls for their team. At one point it seemed that Sikandar would give victory to his team, but another centurion of the match Shubman Gill took a brilliant catch in Shardul Thakur’s ball and ended his innings.
