Formal Pakistani Pacer Shoaib Akhtar Predicted Virat Kohli’s Retirement from T20 Format After The T20 World Cup

‘Virat may retire from the T20 format after the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia to strengthen his Test-ODI career. He can do this to play longer in other formats of cricket. Had I been in his place, I would have taken the decision after taking into account all the aspects.

Virat has returned to form after almost three years. He scored a century in the match against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup. It was his 71st century. Virat scored 122 against Afghanistan at a strike rate of 200. A century came from his bat after 1020 days. Significantly, this was Virat’s first century in the T20 format.
